Skills and employment
Kānoa – Regional Economic Development & Investment Unit, administers several skills and training initiatives aimed at increasing employment opportunities in the regions, supporting the creation of higher value jobs, and providing support to deploy workers to regions where employers have a need.
Funding for Kānoa’s skills and employment programs are supported by the Provincial Growth Fund, Vote Labour Market, and the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund.
